Room for a comforter

The large bins start at 56 quarts, about 14 gallons, with the Snaplock 56 qt at roughly 23.5 by 16.125 inches and a little over 12 inches tall. The Secure Latch 64 qt and 66 qt are close in volume but not in shape: the 66 qt is the longer one, about 26.5 inches, and the 64 qt is the taller one, about 13.5 inches, on most packs. The 112 qt bin is the giant of the line, for a folded comforter or a season of coats.

A large clear bin is heavy once it is full, so put it where you will not lift it often: the floor of a closet, the bottom of a stack, a high shelf you reach twice a year. Look through the side before you open the lid. The price per bin on each page shows when a four-pack or a six-pack costs less per bin than a pair.

Each of these belongs to HOMZ storage, and the full clear latching bins shelf has the rest.

Four quarts make a gallon, and a gallon is 231 cubic inches, as the federal tables of units define it.
