About the HOMZ 17 Gallon Rope-Handle Utility Tub

A round tub is the fastest storage there is. Nothing to unlatch, no lid to set down, and the 17-gallon size is about 21.5 inches across, wide enough to drop a bag of potting soil straight in.

Grab the two rope handles and the tub comes with you. They are reinforced nylon, so they flex in your hand instead of digging in, and you can carry a load of garden tools from the shed to the beds without switching grips.

Empty tubs nest inside each other. A stack of six takes little more room than one on a garage shelf. Pick black for the garage, blue for the laundry room, or bold lime green so the garden tub is easy to find.

You may want the 18 Gallon Rope-Handle Utility Tub beside it: an 18-gallon rope-handle tub in five colors that doubles as a party drink cooler.

Key features

  • Open round tub: No lid to manage, so you drop things in and lift them out in one move.
  • Rope handles: Reinforced nylon handles flex with your grip when the tub is full.
  • Nests when empty: Tubs drop inside one another and save shelf space.
  • Three colors: Black, blue and bold lime green let you give each room its own tub.

How to use it

  1. 1

Where it goes

A closet floor, the backyard shed, the garage or the back porch.

Garage and basement storage

Whatever goes into storage, household chemicals stay in their original labeled containers and out of children's reach, as the EPA advises.
